One of Our Biggest Traditions
In Costa Rica, breakfast is a celebration of fresh and authentic flavors that reflect the richness of Costa Rican cuisine. The main element of our typical breakfast is “gallo pinto” a traditional dish that combines rice and beans seasoned with local spices. This dish is served alongside eggs, fresh fried cheese, ripe plantains, and is often accompanied by handmade corn tortillas. And of course, the accompanying beverage is an exquisite poured coffee!

Best Time to Visit
It depends on your preferences and the type of experience you’re seeking. If you prefer drier and sunnier conditions for enjoying beaches and outdoor activities, the dry season, between December and April, may be the best option. But if you love lush vegetation and are interested in experiencing authentic jungle life, the green season, from May to November, will fascinate you.
